I use Google Classroom to keep students and parents up to date with expectations and materials in a class.

If you accept the invitation to join a Google Classroom you can activate a notification to get a weekly report about missing assignments etc.

If you have a gmail account, you can even set notifications for daily if you'd like.

The only way to see exactly what is in my Google classroom is to have your child sign in or give you the access information using their school gmail account.

I put my daily plan in the stream every day so students know what to expect.

I am entering grades in PowerSchool, which is accessible online with your username and password provided by the school.  This allows you to check or get notifications about changes in the class whenever you'd like.
